Special Case: Using a Computer

In the cases presented below, you will need to bring your own USB-B cables (the square USB connector at the back of the CDJ) to USB-A or USB-C. You will need three: one for the DJM A9 mixer, one for each CDJ 3000 player. You may also need a powered USB hub to support your computer’s load.

Using Rekordbox

  1. For using Serato, make sure your Rekordbox software is up to date on your computer.
  2. Connect all cables to your computer, ideally directly; otherwise, use a powered USB hub. The players and mixer are already connected to each other via the Link port using RJ-45 cables and a router.
