If there’s no sound coming from the headphones or during recording, follow each step until you have sound.
Ensure the console is powered on (button on the right side of the back panel).
Check that the volume faders for the active tracks are raised.
3. Ensure that the red “Mute” buttons and/or the green “Solo” buttons for the tracks are not lit.
Verify that the headphone volume potentiometers on the top right are turned up. Be aware that sometimes configurations may change, so the correspondences might not be exact.
Check that the microphone gains are not too low. To do this, press the numbered button at the top of each track to display the track configuration menu on the touchscreen and check the gain levels.
If recording doesn’t start, what to do?
Ensure that you have properly inserted the MicroSD card into the back panel of the console. To avoid data write errors, we strongly recommend using cards with good write speeds, at least V30 or UHS-I U3 cards.
Make sure your MicroSD card is formatted for use. The console will indicate this on the touchscreen and offer to format it if needed.
Press the green ⚫️ REC button. It will turn red when recording starts.
Verify the recording compliance by doing a test before your final recording by launching it from the touchscreen.
